An Emotional Women-Loving-Women Wedding at Iron Front in Lewisburg, PA
Every wedding I capture stays with me for different reasons but Chloe & Samantha’s celebration at Iron Front in Lewisburg, PA has stuck with me for how emotional their ceremony was. Their day was a beautiful reflection of who they are together—thoughtful, intentional, and full of love that radiated through every detail.
A Historic Iron Front Wedding in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania
They leaned into the architecture of the historic Iron Front building, keeping florals minimal and allowing the space to speak for itself. Black bows tied neatly on the chairs added a romantic touch, while their guests all dressed in black so that Chloe and Samantha stood out in their dresses. The result left them glowing and made for the most striking photos.
One of the sweetest details was how they incorporated their history into the day. Over the years, they had saved dried flower petals from dates and milestones, and those petals became part of their wedding centerpieces. On the morning of their wedding, friends and family gathered to help them create their calla lilies bouquets—a collaborative moment that led to so many fun exchanges and brought everyone together more fully.
An Emotional LGBTQia Ceremony Full of Meaning
Their ceremony brought out the happy tears for everyone gathered as Chloe & Samantha exchanged their heartfelt vows. Sam’s brother, who became ordained to officiate, added another layer of intimacy to the moment and brought the perfect dynamic of laughter and seriousness to the moment. There was so much joy, so much gratitude, and so much love shared—not just between the two of them, but throughout the entire room in such a tangible way.
Downtown Lewisburg Wedding Portraits at the Campus Theatre
Following the ceremony and family photos, we wandered through downtown Lewisburg for portraits, including one of my favorite moments: standing in front of the Campus Theatre sign, where they had rented the marquee and had their names displayed for the big day. It was such a cinematic and celebratory touch, perfectly capturing the excitement.
The reception was full of so many thoughtful touches too—like cookie biscuits for everyone’s dogs, heartfelt toasts, a beautiful clock stopped at the exact moment of their first kiss from Sam’s sister, and my personal favorite where they made a speech to their mom’s. As they made their speech about the unconditional love and acceptance they felt from both of their mother’s, more tears were shed and you could feel the bond they shared.
Their day was such a beautiful reminder that weddings aren’t just about the details (though theirs were stunning), but about celebrating the journey too. Chloe & Samantha have shared so many experiences together already from their love of travel together to their frequent adventures to New York, and their wedding at Iron Front felt like both a continuation of that journey and the beginning of a new chapter.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue in central Pennsylvania that blends historic architecture with modern elegance, Iron Front in Lewisburg is an incredible choice. And if you’re dreaming of a day filled with personal details, meaningful moments, and a celebration that feels uniquely yours—Chloe & Samantha’s wedding is proof of just how magical that can be. If this resonates with you, I would be so honored to be a part of preserving those moments and memories for you.
