I believe every body is beautiful and every woman deserves to feel sexy, confident, and empowered in her own skin.
Why I photograph boudoir
Allow me to tell you a story.
I was about to get married in a few weeks and I wanted to give my partner a special wedding gift so I planned a boudoir session. I had never done anything liked it and I was overwhelmed, anxious, maybe a little scared too.
I had absolutely no idea what these photos would look like or how I would feel about them, I just hoped they would be beautiful and maybe some semblance of something sexy.
I had grown up in a relatively conservative house and had never really had the opportunity or desire to embrace, document, or explore that side of myself… and very suddenly it seemed, I was doing just that.
I remember getting those photos back and thinking DAMN, I didn’t know I looked like that or could look like that.
The longer I think back on that session, and the more I explore documenting boudoir for myself and others, the more I realize how much it healed the broken relationship I had with my body.
It’s my hope to do the same for many others as well as create beautiful imagery for the female that bridges the divide of who we are, who we’re told to be and who we’ve dreamed of becoming.

When I first saw my boudoir images it felt like I finally came home to myself and my body.
I hadn’t realized a veil of separation existed but over the years it’s drifted lazily towards the floor.
I believe in the power of imagery, the power of photographing someone well, even more so the power of photographing women well.
Because these photos, these moments, this existence, your mark on this world matter and deserves to be embraced, celebrated, documented and most importantly reclaimed without abandon.

Boudoir is all about celebrating you as you are. You don’t need to lose 10 lbs, have a significant other or even an event to commemorate your session. These photographs are for you, your empowerment, your fierce celebration of life in your own skin.

I don’t expect you to know how to pose for these sessions but if you do and want to come with some of your own ideas that is amazing! I will guide you every step of the way from explaining what I want you to do, demonstrating it, and making sure you look amazing every step of the way.

Yes, yes, and yes! I love a couples boudoir session and think it can be the perfect way to add a little bit of spice to your life. We can document both of you together as well as get some solo shots for each of you to cherish.

This is 100% up to you! I want you to feel comfortable and confident, a part of that is making sure you feel good in what you show or don’t show. If you want to get naked that’s great, if you prefer to stay in your lingerie you’re still going to look amazing.

This is up to you! I typically recommend some variety in your pieces like one bra & underwear set, a bodysuit and a teddy. Overall my main focus is for you to feel beautiful in what you wear and to embellish it how you see fit.

I love working in an airbnb, home or hotel but if you’d like to keep it simple and not think about the location my studio is always an option! If you’re feeling like you’d love to do one outdoors we can put our heads together to find the perfect location.
