A Spring Engagement in Brooklyn, NY
The first time my path crossed with Chloe & Samantha was for their proposal at The Herdic House in Williamsport. Chloe had reached out to me a few months prior inquiring about a surprise proposal to her girlfriend and from that very first email I knew we had to work together. Samantha said yes in the candlelit ambiance of the Herdic House’s Green Room and together they spent the rest of the evening celebrating with their favorite people that Chloe had orchestrated to be waiting in a private room upstairs as an added surprise. The January evening was warmly filled with laughter, teary eyed embraces, champagne and so much joy for what was to come.
Chloe & Samantha love traveling together and New York City has become one of their favorite destinations to visit, so as May crept closer we started planning out the perfect engagement session in Brooklyn. After arriving at Penn Station and taking the train to Brooklyn I stopped for the most heavenly slice at Front Street Pizza before meeting them on Washington Street to start off their session. We wandered around Dumbo together soaking in the spring sun before making our way down to Pebble Beach for some photos on the water.
The entire time we were chatting about plans for the wedding, their trip so far and just soaking in that engagement bliss. On the way into the city Samantha had surprised Chloe with a pitstop to buy a lock and leave a piece of their story in Brooklyn together. As we made our way across the Brooklyn Bridge we left a piece of their history to be remembered each time they make their way back to New York. Our last spot took us to Centre street where we leaned into the timeless architecture of City Hall together.
I cannot wait to share in their celebration and capture some heartfelt moments in 2025 at Iron Front in Lewisburg. These two were absolutely made for each other, their chemistry, love, and joy in being together is completely contagious.
