Winter Engagement Photos at the Chautauqua Institute, NY

Meet Becky and Tyler. These two are not your average couple, they have been together about 12 years. When I asked them about their time together, they say their favorite thing is that as they've grown up, they've grown together. These two were just kids when they first fell for each other and I am so amazed with how in love they still are.

When I worked with Becky to plan their engagement shoot, it quickly become apparent how much thought and intention she put into the location and the overall feeling of the session. Becky and Tyler grew up attending the Chautauqua Institutes events and even worked there for while, the history they had with the institute made capturing their photos so personal and raw.

I was so thankful for the opportunity to work with these two and loved getting to know them as we moved our way towards their wedding day. I can hands down say that Becky planned every detail of their wedding to a T, and let me tell you folks, it was completely authentic to their relationship.

It's truly amazing how these candid moments bring people together and create an infinite memory of what is was like to be there in that moment. The anticipation, the mood, the chill of the breeze moving off of the lake in December and most importantly the love of these two souls. ​
